Firm founder Larry Pitt was named an Ambassador of Hope by City of Hope, a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, for his philanthropic support which was crucial to helping develop a research department in the hospital. He was also honored with the Spirit of Life Award, “presented to individuals who exemplify the ideals and values that have guided City of Hope for a century, and whose professional and humanitarian accomplishments are worthy of celebration.” To acknowledge Larry’s philanthropy, City of Hope established an Honorary Research Fellowship in Pediatric, Melanoma and Lung Cancer at City of Hope Cancer Center in Larry’s name.
